Species Requiring Documentation

Scroll to table below for a list of species needing a documentation form. Median arrival and departure dates, or dates of occurence, are indicated by numbers for the months, and by A, B, C, D, for the weeks of each month (e.g., the 3rd week of March = 3D).

Any species more than 1 month outside of its expected dates require documentation, EXCEPT waterbirds seen at Lake Champlain when the lake is not frozen. See the Vermont field card (be patient, download takes a minute depending on connection) for dates of all species that occur in the state.
