Available Mountain Birdwatch Routes

Thank you for your interest in Mountain Birdwatch! The initial point count surveys were conducted before June 21, but we still need help confirming the absence of Bicknell's Thrush on several routes before July 15. Along each route identified below, we are looking for volunteers to broadcast one-minute playbacks at 100-m intervals between 4 and 5 a.m. or between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. After each broadcast, we ask that you listen for 2 minutes and record your observations. For more details, please see the FAQs and protocol description. If you are interested in adopting a mountain, contact the Coordinator by phone: 802-649-1431 or email: mbw [AT] vtecostudies [dot] org
